The EU Data API
Summary
The Miele Data Act API provides read-only access to data generated by supported Miele connected appliances. It is designed to enable customers and authorized third parties to access appliance data in a standardized and secure way.

Availability
The API is available for supported appliances of the latest Miele appliance generations. Depending on the appliance type and its capabilities, the available information may differ. Applications should therefore evaluate the data and structures provided for each individual appliance instead of assuming that every appliance exposes the same set of information.
Differences between Miele APIs
Due to the detailed nature of the Data Act data model, consumers should be prepared to handle a larger and more appliance-specific set of data points than with the Miele 3rd Party API.
The Data Act API is a read-only interface. It provides access to appliance data but does not allow applications to control appliances, change settings, start programs, or otherwise modify the state of an appliance. Applications requiring appliance control capabilities should use the appropriate Miele APIs where available.
Compared to the Miele 3rd Party API, the Data Act API provides a significantly more detailed representation of an appliance and its current state. The underlying data model exposes a broader range of appliance information and data points, allowing applications to gain deeper insight into the operation, status, configuration, and behavior of supported appliances.
